I'm dedicating this module to my doggy! I don't want to forget and he was like a best friend (like most dogs are). He seriously was adorable! He was so little and friendly. December 31, 2006 is the day of his death, forever to be remembered for as long as possible! May you rest in peace, Mikey!

| 「土曜日はヨウマカンですよ!」 Yet again, it has been another month since I've updated my site. I've just been so busy. So we watched another movie in my Japanese class. Man, we watch some awesome movies, I'll tell you that much. And today we did an activity where we raced to see who could put little beans in a cup first using chopsticks. I won, but in the championship I lost. Becca won. She is pretty darn fast, ha ha. I've also become interested in a sorority, but I do not have the money to pay for tuition fees for the sorority. I need to save up for my trip to Japan before anything else. It's such a shame, too, because everyone there seemed so nice. It was ASA, and I went to their hall for the pumpkin carving night, which turned out to be rather interesting. Someone left pumpkin seeds in the oven for too long, and they caught on fire. Yeah... Yesterday Kelly and I raked a bunch of leaves into a pile using sticks because we didn't have rakes. Apparently that is immature. These guys told us we were immature and asked if we really went to this college. What a bunch of party poopers. Also, there is this kid that I see everywhere, and today I got to talk to him for a while. I just really hate how awkward I am when it comes to meeting new people. Since Kelly had already eaten dinner (I missed going with everyone because I was taking a nap), this kid offered to let me eat with him since he wasn't going anywhere. I decided it was okay, even though I didn't know him well. I just wish I wasn't so self-concious when I eat. I can never eat normally in front of people I don't know well. Anyway, after I said good bye to him in Ritchie, I came back to my dorm and started working on my essay. About an hour into it, he's at my door way. Yeah....it was weird. I was like, "How did you get in here?" Silly people hanging out in the lobby just let anyone in apparently. But he's really funny and I think he'll make an interesting friend, even though my story just made him sound like a crazy stalker. That's about it besides homework and what not. I have essays to write and quizzes to study for. Fun. I am such a nerd. I spent my weekend finding Disney songs in other languages. But you know what? I loved it. And Aladdin's Japanese voice stole my heart. <3 ~flo~ | | |
| Oh my gosh this week is busy! Well, for starters, yesterday I turned eighteen! Woooo! It still feels kind of weird to say. I'm eighteen...kind of unreal. Haha. So for my birthday I went home (after a not so pleasant surprise that turned out well in the end) and got to see Kels, Levi, Jenn, my cats, and my family. It was nice. After I stayed the night and opened my awesome gifts from my brother and Kels, I headed off to go shopping in the city. I got some awesome clothing items, and boy am I happy that Hot Topic threw all their stupid scene-like clothing on the clearance rack. Then we ate at the Cracker Barrel, where I got a huge piece of cake for free because it was my birthday. I have yet to finish the thing. Lol. Then, on Monday, I woke to find happy birthday posters plastered all over my dorm room door. All day long I was getting "Happy birthday!"'s and hugs. It was nice. Today I've been running around trying to get things done. I have an exam tomorrow in Geology that I've been studying for since the weekend, an essay due on Thursday (my classmate finally gave me my peer critique), and a quiz in Japanese on Friday. I also must see a Japanese tutor by Friday. It's a homework assignment my professor gave us; don't ask me why. So I finally got a hold of my tutor (kind of), and hopefully she'll call me back tonight. She was at dinner when I called, and her room mate answered. So hopefully the room mate gets the message to my tutor. Also, Jenn, my classmate pretty much told me what you told me about my essay, haha. So I suppose I should get to editing that thing. I'll either do it tonight or tomorrow night. I really gotta study for my Geology test some more, since she gave us specific things to study that I missed during the weekend. So yay for that. I made myself a study guide, and it's five pages long. *dies* So I'm definitely feeling stressed right now, and I'm really hoping Kelly doesn't come knocking on my door. I was in the library, but I decided to get a hold of my tutor before anything else. I also have to go to yoga tonight at 8, which I was going to buy sweat pants for, but I might just have to wear my other pants again. Who knows. Ah, the stress. I have a feeling today won't be my only stressful day, either.
My sister showed me this, and it cracked me up. I can't believe someone actually wrote a fanfiction that bad. ~flo~ | | |
| So I'm still thoroughly enjoying college, and have had no desire to go home quite yet. Every single day here is busy and full of fun for me. Last night Kelly and I played frisbee in the dark with a black frisbee. Haha. People were like, "Why are you playing frisbee in the dark?" It was fun, though. There were parties going on, too, so drunk people were stumbling around everywhere. I felt kind of bad for the campus security people. They had to run around all over. After the parties had been broken up and people started to leave, the four of us decided to go over by the football field and look at the stars. It was nice. Kelly was trying to find the Big Dipper and the Little Dipper, though she kept saying Ursa Major and Ursa Minor. Apparently not everyone knows that Ursa Major is the Big Dipper, and Ursa Minor is the Little Dipper. I knew, but Chelsea didn't. Haha. And, of course, I had to pull a your face joke on Kelly. She's like, "Does anyone see Ursa Major or Ursa Minor?" I sat up and said, "I know where it is!" "Where?" "On your face." She punched me in the arm after that. xD Then, after a little while, Kelly and I came back to the dorms and decided to go to bed. Though before all that happened Kelly and I went for a walk over to the Country Market and Aco Hardware to buy some stuff that would make the exit door next to my dorm room door shut up. Aco Hardware has juice for 79 cents! That made me excited. Country Market's prices are kind of expensive, but it's close to the campus. Oh yeah, and we stopped by Family Video along the way. Jenn, I now know why you love that place. I was only there once and I adore it. Haha. Anyway, so I have some homework to finish yet. I've been procrastinating pretty badly this weekend. ^_^" I gotta brainstorm for an essay (since my professor insists that we go through the entire procedure before we create a final draft), and I have to finish memorizing a few words and a chart. Fun, fun. I'm fucking in love with Kalafina (though with Kaori Oda (the really tall one) they are Fiction Junction) right now, and I want Yuki Kajiura's Live 2008 DVD so bad! RAAWWRRGH! Also, the composer of the songs is playing the keyboard throughout the performace (that's why they kind of show her a lot). My favorite singer is the tenor. She has such a deep and beautiful voice. I wish I could be that kind of tenor. ~flo~ | | |
| Hey guys! Again with the long wait for an update. Sorry! But here's the story! I finally moved into my dorm in college, and I'm really loving it! The campus is beautiful; it really is. Also, there's this freakin' awesome squirrel that I keep seeing around campus. It isn't afraid of people, so it doesn't run away when you walk past. It's so cool. I keep forgetting to take my camera with me, though, so I haven't gotten a picture of it. Today I have to get set up my account at the library, and I also have to get a picture ID. That means I'm getting my picture taken today. (How's my hair look, guys?!!!) I got a dry erase board for my door, too, and I've had people draw on it already. It's so awesome! There's this person that drew Sonic on someone else's door, and I really wanted that person to draw on my door too. Last night after returning from watching a comedian I came home to find...Sonic! My day had just been made. Sonic was on my door (and still is). However, I have no idea who this mysterious person is. Kelly and I are trying to find out who it is, but I actually think it'd be funner to keep not knowing who the mystery artist is, and to continue communicating with her (I say her because I'm in an all girls dorm) through drawings on people's dry erase boards. Thursday I leave for Macinaw Island. It kind of sucks weather-wise, but other than that I expect the trip to be fun. I hope Kelly, Katy, Sandra, Emily and I will be able to hang out. And I definitely won't forget my camera this time. ^_^ Wooooo! Luvmymudsy uploaded a new video, and it's a cosplay skit! I love the cosplay song! "C-O-S-P-L-AY, Cosplay!" Also, Danish sounds awesome (the language that they speak in the video). ~flo~ | | |
